Luc van Beers

Luc van Beers (19060) studied journalism, worked for several years as a TV reporter and subsequently as a scenario writer. Looking for a new challenge, he moved into advertising, joining BBDO, in Amsterdam, where he was made a partner at just 30. There, he divided his time between strategy, account and creative, covering corporate communication, advertising and design. Ten years later, aged 40, he launched Proof Reputation | consultancy, concept & creation. His idea was to build a bridge between corporate and marketing communication and provide an answer for clients who were seeking to unite their companies’ internal and external worlds. Proof quickly built a name for innovative concepts for internal branding and reputation communication. In 2009, Luc’s ongoing drive to renew, his history of success, and his all round contribution to the profession led him to be named ‘Communication Person of the Year’ by Logeion, the Dutch association for communication professionals. In 2010, he published the book ‘Internal Branding 2.0,’ an English version of which will be available at the end of this year. Luc has won many awards over his 25-year career, some of which you can read about here (other useful links include www.proof.nl (in Dutch), www.allaboutinternalbranding.com (in English) and the LinkedIn group www.linkedin.com/internalbranding2.0 (in Dutch). In 2007, Proof Reputation formed an alliance with www.ateliervangog.nl, a design agency that takes an integrated approach to corporate, cultural and editorial design. Atelier van GOG has some 20 committed professionals and is itself a regular prize-winner.
