This course is for administrators and users who are responsible for planning, administrating and configuring an IBM FileNet P8 Platform system.
CONTENT
The course is designed to provide technical professionals with the skills that are needed to configure and administer an IBM FileNet P8 Platform.
Day 1 starts with an introduction to the course and to IBM FileNet P8 Platform. Students learn about Enterprise Content Management concepts, FileNet P8 Platform features, integration options, and its architecture.They explore the IBM FileNet P8 Platform applications and learn how to manage logging and configure auditing. They also learn about managing storage areas.
Day 2 starts with creating JDBC data sources, and building and configuring an object store. Students create property templates, document and folder classes, and also modify these objects. They also configure a subscription with an event action. The day finishes with introducing the security topic.
Day 3 continues with working on the security for IBM FileNet P8 assets. Students configure initial object store security, use the Security Script wizard, configure default instance security, and security inheritance, implement designer group access, and configure role-based access. They also learn to use bulk operations. Next, the course introduces content-based retrieval (CBR).
Day 4 continues with content-based retrieval (CBR). Students register IBM Content Search Services, configure index partitioning and content-based indexes, and create content-based searches. Then, they work on configuring sweeps and policies. The day finishes with introducing how to move IBM FileNet P8 Platform applications between environments.
Day 5 continues with moving IBM FileNet P8 Platform applications between environments. Students create a source environment and export the FileNet P8 application assets. They configure a destination environment and import the application assets. They also convert and analyze the FileNet P8 assets. The course wraps up with introducing the IBM FileNet P8 content services containers and organizing content across the enterprise.

OVERVIEW
This course introduces and explains the IBM Z System Automation (SA for z/OS) commands that are used for system operations. In this course, the System Automation Manager and Automation Agent run in a z/OS 2.4 environment. The automation platform, IBM Z Netview is at version 6 release 4 and IBM Z System Automation is at version 4 release 3.
The course uses several automation scenarios in single and multisystem configurations to demonstrate the concepts that are taught in the lessons. This training class is delivered in an environment with multiple opportunities for hands-on lab exercises.
